The ministry of praise and worship was established in the church in the early 90s of last century. Throughout the years it developed as a more contemporary ministry, which allowed for contemporary styles of music to be introduced to the church. 

As Varna is a university town, a lot of students became part of our team in the last twenty years, and we had wonderful time with different teams, which in the seasons of the church were faithful servants. 

A key year for our worship team was the year 2001, when the team got involved in the establishment of the NEW WAVE YOUTH MOVEMENT which for 11 years is a place for change for young christians. Ever since we are serving the youth of our nation, revealing our heart for God in front of the generation to come. For us, to that very day NEW WAVE means unity for the churches in Bulgaria, and unity between the different worship teams in our country. 

In year 2007 the team recorded its first concert in the local Theater of Varna, which to the day is one of the most listened to albums in contemporary christian music in Bulgaria. 

For the last few years our worship team got involved in yet another mission in Albania, sending musicians and equipment to the first of the kind ALBANIA YOUTH CONFERENCE, which was started by our teams, who began the NEW WAVE 11 years ago. It is great to be able to help our brothers and sisters from Albania in their first steps to gather their youth from the different churches.
